This angered the French, and they declared war on them.On either side, the Native Americans were supporting them, though more supported the French. The French and Indian War is also called the Seven Years War, because that was how long it was. The fighting was not limited to North America, but it was also spread around the world. There was fighting in Europe, India, and Africa, where trade posts were located. In the end, France lost to Britain, and they lost practically all of their land except for some land in the Caribbean. However, Britain's national debt grew after the war, and they charged the colonists more taxes. This soon led to another war...
